WATCH LIVE: Sean Spicer holds first daily White House press briefing

Updated

White House press secretary Sean Spicer is slated to hold his first daily briefing on Monday, after a weekend conference in which he slammed media for coverage of inauguration attendance.

Spicer combatively insisted on Saturday that Trump's swearing in was "the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period." Two days later, the press official is likely to address Trump's executive orders relative to withdrawing from the Trans Pacific Partnership, and a first step in dismantling federal Obamacare regulations.

In a Sunday interview with NBC News' Chuck Todd, senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said Spicer gave "alternative facts" when he inaccurately described the inauguration crowd as "the largest ever."
