Last July, giant panda twins -- one male and one female -- were born at the Chongqing Zoo in southwest China.
According to the World Wildlife Fund, Pandas are about the size of a stick of butter at birth! While that may seem tiny, these beloved creatures can reach a hefty 330-pounds in adulthood.
On January 22nd, 2017 the 6 month old cubs made their first appearance at the Panda House. Prior to their debut, the newborns had been living indoors and patrons could only catch a glimpse of the pair on monitors. As of now, these two remain un-named and the Chongqing Zoo is taking suggestions. The two are in good health and are now part of the Zoo's 15 total pandas.
