Mom shares outrageous video of child taped to wall

An Ohio woman is facing severe backlash after she took to Facebook Live to share a video of her toddler taped to a wall.

The footage shows Shayla Rudolph, 18, speaking to her crying child.

"You got the best mommy in the whole wide world. Don't make me put more tape up there," she said.

Rudolph admitted that the controversial act helps her keep him from interfering with her cleaning.

"Now sit still ... you can see the TV from right there. If you can't clean without them running around, tearing up — you tape 'em to the wall," she suggested.

"You can't cook or none of that because they're running around — you tape 'em to the wall."

According to ABC 6, someone who viewed the video filed a complaint to Franklin County Children's Services.

The department denied requests for comment, and it's unclear whether or not she will be charged with child endangerment.

Days after the video was posted, Rudolph returned to Facebook Live to tell her followers she was reported to Children's Services, according to New York Daily News.
