Laura Ingraham reportedly considers running for office

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham is reportedly considering a run for Senate in Virginia 2018.

According to a report in the Washington Examiner, "knowledgeable sources" said that party insiders have approached the her to run and that she is considering it.

The 52 year old, who is also a bestselling author and editor-in-chief of LifeZette.com, could be looking to challenge Hillary Clinton's former running mate, Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia.

Ingraham has not commented on the rumors yet, but her business partner seems to have been preparing to support her political career.

The Washignton Examiner reported that Peter Anthony purchased a slew of website domains Ingraham could use if she chooses to run, including ingrahamsenate.net, ingrahamsenate.com, ingrahamforvirginia.com and ingraham2018.com.

Ingraham was considered for the White House press secretary post earlier in Trump's transition.

"I am honored to be considered for that job and other jobs. So we'll see what happens," Ingraham said on FOX News.
