Leotard-wearing thief allegedly breaks into store

Police in Independence, Kansas, released a photo of a man suspected of stealing $3,000 worth of items from a dance supply store.

He appears to be wearing a leotard.

Stolen goods include leotards, children's dance clothing, earrings, gloves, shorts and the cash register.

The burglary occurred overnight on Dec. 20 at Degage Dancewear, according to the Kansas City Star.

Surveillance footage shows the man broke into the store by prying open the front door.
