Trump lashes out at 'Meet the Press' for editing Kellyanne Conway's interview

Sunday morning, President-elect Donald Trump lashed out at NBC News on Twitter for airing only a part of his adviser's full interview.

He tweeted, "Kellyanne Conway went to @MeetThePress this morning for an interview with @chucktodd. Dishonest media cut out 9 of her 10 minutes. Terrible!"

The clip aired on Sunday and the network also posted a link to the full interview, which Trump retweeted from his account, reports The Hill.

Conway noted during her 'Meet the Press' appearance, in part, "...there is no evidence that Russia succeeded in any alleged attempt to disrupt our democracy or in fact influence the election results."

Commenting on Trump's tweet about cutting the interview, CNN's Brian Stelter said, "NBC source says Team Trump knew (on Friday) that the show was only planning to run a sound bite from @KellyannePolls, not full interview."

Conway responded to Stelter, "False. We're not in the business of furnishing 10-minute Sunday show interviews so media can choose which 'soundbite' to run. Our POV cut..."

This is not the first time Trump has accused the media of being "dishonest."

On Friday, amid reports that the president-elect's team may ask Congress and not Mexico to pay for the proposed border wall, Trump tweeted, "The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!"
