Her upcoming inauguration performance was announced earlier this month on NBC's 'Today' show.

Said Evancho of the January 20 event, "I'm so excited. It's going to be awesome."

In a statement, Boris Epshteyn, the communication director of Trump's inaugural committee, said of the vocalist, "As the youngest solo artist to ever go platinum, she is a true role model and inspiration for people young and old in our country and around the globe. Jackie represents the best and the brightest of America."
