President Barack Obama will hold his last scheduled White House press conference of the year at 2:15 p.m. EDT on Friday before he and the first family depart for Hawaii where they will spend the Christmas holiday.

Between the president's vow to "take action" after Russia's hack of the 2016 election, the suspension of refugee evacuations out of Aleppo and recent news that China has seized an American underwater drone in the South China Sea, the end-of-year briefing is set to be stacked with pointed questions for the commander in chief.
