Trump's former campaign manager reportedly says a New York Times editor should go to jail

President-elect Donald Trump's former campaign manager reportedly says a New York Times executive editor should go to jail.

According to Politico, Corey Lewandowski made the comment at a conference held at Harvard University on Thursday. Lewandowski allegedly said Times staffer Dean Baquet should quote "be in jail" because the newspaper released Trump's tax returns from 1995.

The documents were published in October and not only showed Trump's billion-dollar loss, but he received criticism for getting out of paying taxes.

Politico claims this all stems from Baquet saying he would risk going to prison to release Trump's returns back in September. A spokesperson from the Times told Politico that releasing the story was legal.
