First family: Getting to know Ivanka Trump

In January 2017, Donald Trump will officially become the 45 president of the United States of America. Following that historic inauguration, the U.S. will also be getting a new first family. And while for some members of the Trump family the transition further into the spotlight might take some getting used to, Ivanka Trump is already making the most of it.

Ivanka, who is now 35, has already launched a jewelry brand that has evolved into clothing, shoe, and accessories lines carried by mainstream outlets like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Zappos.

Prior to her success in business, Ivanka was also a runway model. She has walked runways for Versace, Marc Bouwer and Thierry Mugler. An has also appeared on the covers of Seventeen, Forbes, Golf Magazine, Avenue, Elle Mexico.

Ivanka is currently an executive vice president of acquisitions and development for The Trump Organization. After finishing her degree at The Wharton School she began working real estate developer Bruce Ratner before going to work for her father.

She is married to real estate and publishing mogul Jared Kushner with whom she has three children with. The two tied the knot in 2009. Ivanka reportedly converted to Orthodox Judaism before prior to the couples wedding.
