Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputies found a Louisiana couple passed out with their two children at a playground bathroom after allegedly shooting up heroin.

An anonymous caller reported the scene, 27-year-old Anthony Smith and his 25-year-old girlfriend, Ashley Mayfield, were found in the women's bathroom with a 2 and 4 year-old identified as their children.

The report says two used syringes were found which Smith and Mayfield told the deputy contained heroin and that they both had recently "shot up."

The couple was taken into custody and were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of drug laws because the playground is a mandated drug-free zone.

Smith was released because of crowding at a jail, Mayfield is still in custody on a $25,500 bond.

The children are in Child Protective Services.
