Video captures crocodile attacking couple in swimming pool

If you're afraid of alligators, you would probably think that swimming in a pool will keep you safe from them.

For one couple staying at a lodge in Kariba, Zimbabwe, this method was far from effective.

A video uploaded to YouTube by Zimbo88 shows the crocodile stalking and attacking the couple in the pool.

At the start of the video, you can see the couple relaxing in the pool.

Within seconds, fear erupts as the crocodile appears in the right side of the frame and chases after them.

The man jumps out of the pool while the woman stays behind and struggles to resist the snaps of the vicious crocodile.

Eventually, she makes it out of the pool, while it looks like the man returns to distract the beast.

Daily Mail reports the woman in the video suffered a few bites and the man escaped unscathed.
