Thief breaks into car only to steal a Kit-Kat bar
One person may have taken the phrase "break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar" a bit too far.
Twitter user Hunter Jobbins left his car for 15 minutes at his school, Kansas State University. When he came back, he found that the Kit-Kat in his car was replaced with a handwritten note. He shared it:
Left my car for maybe 15 minutes in front of the dorms and I come back to this. College man pic.twitter.com/KlDx5BtXLX

The note read, "Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit-Kat. I am sorry and hungry."

The tweet became incredibly popular, generating hundreds of thousands likes and retweets. Even the official Kit-Kat Twitter responded, offering to replace his Kit-Kat:
Who steals someones Kit Kat?! WHO DOES THAT?! Shoot us a DM and we'll replace it for you 🍫

While Jobbins was initially agitated that his candy was stolen, he was glad it could turn into something funny for others to enjoy. He told Metro, "When I came across it at first I was kinda upset and wondering what happened to my kitkat [sic], then I realized how funny it was that it happened so my frustration turned into laughter."
