Little Shelby Folse, of Houma, and her family were living at the Harvest Moon Trailer Court in Woodward Township for her father's job when a relative driving a pickup truck struck the toddler at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, reported.

Stephen Folse, 21, also of Houma, was leaving a parking space when the truck's undercarriage struck the little girl and carried her about 20 feet, state police told the news website.

Due to the height of the truck, Folse — who authorities said is not Shelby's father — was unaware of the child's location, according to reports.

Shelby's loved ones were devastated by the tragedy.

"She is everything to me," her mother, Ashley Folse, posted on Facebook. "A piece of my soul is missing. RIP my angel princess."

As of Monday, the page had raised $1,550 of is $3,500 goal.
