Couple dead of suspected overdoses, 3 kids hospitalized

During a recent welfare check, authorities found 26-year-old Christopher Dilly and 25-year-old Jessica Lally dead in a home in the Pittsburg area.

Three children were found in the home with Lally and Dilly.

Although the children did not appear to be injured, first responders took them to UPMC Children's Hospital to be evaluated.

The authorities were alerted about the family on Monday when a 7-year-old girl who lived in the house with her sister, and two brothers told school officials she was concerned about her parents.

Allegheny County Police Lt. Andrew Schurman told CBS Pittsburg, "There's no reason to suspect there's any foul play involved in the adults' deaths in the home. Obviously, the possibility that this is a drug overdose is something we are leaning towards."

The children were not living room where the couple was discovered when police arrived, according to reports.

Lt. Schurman said, "The early indications are they may have been dead for a day or two."
