Repeat offender shows off evolution of tattoos in 8 mugshots

A series of fascinating mugshots are showing the extreme evolution of a repeat offender's look after more than a few visits to the tattoo parlor.

Robert Hardister of Stuart, Florida had eight mugshots taken over a seven-year period for various reasons.

But the most interesting part is that each one shows the evolution of the tattoo art on his face.

At just 18 years old, Hardister was fresh-faced with no tattoos in sight. The first addition appears on his neck two years later.

After that, the ink started to appear all over his face: teardrops on his cheeks, a creepy half-skeletal mouth and what looks like a graffiti wall on his neck.

The habitual offender has been arrested at least five times in Palm Beach County alone, mostly for low-level offenses like vehicle theft.

With his most recent arrest, police found him sleeping in a stolen truck.

And his latest mugshot shows his entire face covered in tattoos.

The 25-year-old was held in the county's jail on a $4,500 bond.
