Man finds lost wedding ring after 3 years of searching
Losing your wedding ring, a symbol of your eternal bond with someone and a very expensive purchase, can be devastating.
Brian Ersalesi thought he would never see his band again -- especially after three years.
The New Jersey native took his son fishing at Lukan's Farm Resort in 2013. It was a totally normal trip until Ersalesi tossed his last fish back into the pond.
With the fish went his precious wedding band.
"Everything went in slow motion. I mean, it probably took a second for the ring to fall in, but in that second I watched it arch across the water and bloop," Ersalesi told WNEP.
He called the resort's owners, but there was nothing they could do.

Ersalesi jokingly told them that they might some day find a ring inside a fish they are filleting.
When he told his wife, they thought about going in after the ring.
Not long ago, the resort's owners did just that.
They drained the pond and used a metal detector to find the missing ring.
y three years ago. After getting the news from the resort, the family made a special trip for the ring.
"That was a big worry in the back of our heads and now it's not," Henry Ersalesi, Brian's son, told WNEP.
Ersalesi will not be wearing his wedding ring while fishing again.
