Woman who was once involved with Bill Clinton tweets support for Trump
Gennifer Flowers has made her reentry into the news surrounding the 2016 presidential race.
Flowers, known for having a sexual relationship with President Bill Clinton years ago, tweeted on Saturday that she supports Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in his bid against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Flowers said during Bill Clinton's run for president in 1992 that she had a sexual relationship with him. He admitted to at least one sexual encounter with her in 1998.
"Hi Donald. You know I'm in your corner and will definitely be at the debate," Flowers tweeted.
Trump threatened to invite Flowers to Monday night's presidential debate after Clinton's campaign invited Trump critic Mark Cuban to sit in the debate audience's first row. Now, Flowers seems to have taken him up on his offer.
Trump's invitation to Flowers is the latest way he's referenced Bill Clinton's marital infidelities.
Monday's debate will take place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. It starts at 9 p.m. ET.
