CHICAGO – Kids may not be able to vote in the election on November 8th, but that doesn't mean they're not paying attention to the contentious election season we've witnessed so far.

WGN's Amy Rutledge set out to ask Chicago area kids what is important to them come Election Day. What do they think about the candidates, their campaigns and the causes at hand? Their thoughtful answers show you don't have to be old enough to vote in the election to care about it.

Special thanks to the art campers at the Hyde Park Art Center. More information on that organization on their website.
