Adrian Young is a crossing guard, and though she is only 4'8", she is remarkably powerful.

According to Inside Edition, she helped save an 8-year-old girl from being kidnapped from a California playground by a stranger who was arrested.

After 15 years of dedicated service, Young was honored for her heroic deed.

Her mother expressed how grateful she is that the child was saved.
