A husband and wife were fired from their jobs just one day after starting a Kickstarter campaign for their satirical picture book "D is for Dump Trump."
Brad and Amy Herzog's book contains 26 poems about GOP nominee Donald Trump in alphabetical order, detailing the "dangers of a demagogue running for president."
The couple were working as traveling spokespeople for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association. The RV industry is notoriously conservative, so the book didn't sit particularly well with some consumers.
"It’s not good enough to want it. You’ve got to know how to get it. Real estate titan, bestselling author, and TV star Donald J. Trump is the man to teach you the billionaire mind-set–how to think about money, career skills, and life."
"Donald J. Trump is an icon: the very definition of the American success story. Republican Presidential candidate, reality-television star, and developer of some of the planet's most prestigious real estate, he's also become one of the world's wealthiest men."
"Over the years, Donald Trump has written many bestselling books, and he has also written short pieces that summarize his singularly successful tenets on how to live the good life, both personally and professionally."
"In Midas Touch, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki ask the question: What’s an entrepreneur’s most important job? The answer: creating high-quality, stable jobs. And in today’s marketplace, “jobs” are in high demand — and so are the skills and the innovation and vision of entrepreneurs."
"Look at the state of the world right now. It’s a terrible mess, and that’s putting it mildly. There has never been a more dangerous time."

Brad and Amy lost their jobs after an RV Daily Report editor wrote an opinion piece calling for the company to cut ties with the couple.
"For an organization that routinely walks the tightrope of political correctness, it seems rather odd that RVIA would turn a blind eye to such a divisive book in this politically-charged environment," Greg Gerber wrote.
But the couple says they won't let that stop them from making their book. The Kickstarter has now received more than $40,000 in funding — five times their original $7,500 goal. The book will be available through Barnes & Noble beginning September 15th.
