Mark Cuban offers Donald Trump $10 million for one-on-one interview with 'no one else in the room to help'

Mark Cuban on Friday offered fellow billionaire Donald Trump a hefty sum to participate in a one-on-one interview with the NBA owner and tech entrepreneur.

In a series of tweets, Cuban said he would pay the GOP presidential nominee $10 million for four hours of his time to discuss Trump's "policies and their substance."

There were a few other terms for the interview, which Cuban laid out to his more than 5.5 million followers.

"Ground rules are that you can't mention the Clintons or discuss anything other than the details and facts of your plans," Cuban tweeted. "And no one else is in the room to help. Just me, you and a broadcast crew. Deal?"

The co-star of ABC's Shark Tank told Trump, through tweets, he could donate the money to charity or keep it for himself.

Cuban has become an outspoken critic of Trump as the election season has gone along, although as first, he appeared to be a supporter. In July, Cuban endorsed Hillary Clinton, at the same time calling Trump "Batshit crazy."

Cuban's offer came a few hours after Trump gave a short press conference from D.C. in which he said President Obama was born in the U.S. For years, Trump was the most famous person beating the drum for the "birther movement."
