Police say man was fatally stabbed by roommate while taking a bath
A Northridge man was fatally stabbed in the bathtub Thursday, and his roommate was being questioned by police in connection with the deadly attack that happened inside their apartment.
Officers responded to the scene around 12:48 p.m. and found the victim, who friends told KTLA was Adrian "Chino" Ortiz, with multiple stab wounds.
His body was found in the bathtub covered with blankets and pillows, police said.
Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene.

"We do know we had a homicide, a radio call came out earlier this afternoon of a homicide," LAPD Detective David Peteque said. "Officers responded and detained three individuals. We do have one victim inside the residence and it appears, just from the initial look at him, there are multiple stab wounds."
The roommate fled the home shortly after the attack -- which may have been gang-related -- but was detained a short time later, authorities said.
Detectives said the victim and roommate belong to the same gang, but did not provide a motive for the fatal stabbing.
All the roommates in the home, described as two men and a woman in their 20s, were also being questioned.
