The Wichita Falls Police Department says a 20-year-old Texas man has confessed to shooting two 13-year-old girls as they walked home from school.

The Reason. He told police he was frustrated about not having a girlfriend and planned out the shooting with the "devil" beforehand. Kody Lott says he pulled up next to two 8th graders friday afternoon in a dodge pickup truck and fired at them.

Lauren Landavazo was killed in the drive-by shooting, her friend Makayla Smith managed to survive.

Lott was on the run for two days before the police spotted the truck matching the description and tracked down Lott before he was taken into custody and later confessed to his crimes.

He is facing one count of murder, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possessing a prohibited weapon and is being held on a 4 million dollar bond.
