Kindergartner running late for school stops for pledge, prayer

Kindergartner Royce Thompson takes time every day to honor God and America.

The child from Santa Fe, Texas, froze outside the entrance to his school when he heard students inside reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, Jackie Ibanez reported on Fox and Friends.

He ignored the fact that he was running late to say a short prayer.

"Thank you, God. Thank you for giving me a wonderful day," he said.

A photo of the child praying outisde his school has gone viral.

"I give a lot of credit to that mom. She raised a good little boy," Ibanez said on Fox and Friends.
