Students returning to Kent State University can now brag about one new amenity. The campus announced the opening of what it reports is the country's first entirely gluten-free dining hall.

Named Prentice Cafe, the dining hall was conceived to accommodate the increasing number of people dealing with gluten intolerance.

An estimated 3 million Americans currently suffer from celiac disease, an auto-immune disorder that affects the digestive process. Those with the disorder who consume gluten risk damaging the small intestine.

In a statement, the University's director of dining services said, "students have enough to worry about, they should not have to worry about their food being safe to eat."

With health concerns out of the way, now all the incoming freshmen will have to worry about is how to stave off the dreaded freshmen fifteen.
