Ben Carson stops live TV interview to go search for his luggage

During a live CNN interview being conducted in his childhood Detroit neighborhood on Saturday, Ben Carson realized he had no idea what happened to his luggage.

Apparently overwhelmed with a feeling of unease, he muttered, "Oh my luggage. Um – hold on," ditched the reporter, and went searching for his stuff.

The interviewer handled the surprising departure of his subject with aplomb, coming up with sufficient chatter to fill the unanticipated void.

Carson did eventually reappear before the cameras and announced, "Taken care of."

He then resumed the interview as if nothing weird had just happened.
