Trump suggests "Second Amendment people" could deal with SCOTUS picks

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump held a rally at Trask Coliseum at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani introduced the White House hopeful at the 2 p.m. event.

Campus police worked closely with local officials and the secret service to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

Demonstrators who made their way into the venue Monday interrupted the candidate on multiple times throughout his speech.

The billionaire businessman delivered a speech on the economy Monday from Detroit, Michigan. Trump proposed new tax breaks and cuts to regulation.

Trump is scheduled make another campaign stop in North Carolina Tuesday evening in Fayetteville at 6 p.m.
