The Democratic National Convention kicked off Monday in Philadelphia, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton formally accept the party's official nomination on Tuesday evening.

The convention's fourth and final night commenced at the Wells Fargo Center at 4 p.m. Big names took to take the stage each night, and Chelsea Clinton and Hillary Clinton are set to headline Wednesday night.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders headlined the convention's first night. Following a tumultuous primary race, Sanders eventually endorsed Clinton about a month after she garnered enough delegates for the nomination. While he is supporting and campaigning for Clinton, Sanders has yet to concede and still remains in the race.

First lady Michelle Obama also spoke on opening night. Former President Bill Clinton took the stage on Tuesday to provide voters with a deeply personal look at someone who has been in the spotlight for many years, his wife. He told the story of how they met at college and chronicled their personal lives, as well as Hillary's achievements over the course of her more than 40-year career.

Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama capped off Wednesday night at the convention center.

Each of the convention's four nights were given themes that center around one of the Clinton campaign's slogans: 'Stronger Together.'

The DNC begins as the party's embattled chair is set to step down. Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday that she will resign at the end of the week after thousands of emails leaked over the weekend. Sanders and his supporters have continuously accused Wasserman Schultz of being unfairly biased for Clinton. Wasserman Schultz will be replaced at the convention by Ohio Rep. Marcia Fudge.
