A woman ordered something off Amazon — but she couldn't have expected that this would arrive
Online shopping can be risky business, and what happened to this woman definitely exemplifies that.

Comedian Emily Heller intended to buy a doormat on Amazon, but what she got was something a little different. She posted on Twitter about the incident:
Tried to buy a doormat and here's what arrived: a piece of foam with a photo of the thing I wanted printed on it. pic.twitter.com/sqK7vgH7Ii

What arrived instead of an actual doormat was a piece of foam with a photo of the doormat printed on the front.
What's more, it seems like she may have been the only person with this problem:
No one else got foam!!! All the one star reviews are for the actual product

Understandably, Heller asked for a refund. She received this response:

Instead of stopping there, Heller decided to contact Amazon directly:
I said no. Didn't wait to hear back, and filed an A-to-Z claim with Amazon and got a full refund in store credit.

She apparently received more than she bargained for with this refund:

The story has another happy ending: Heller gave the mat to someone who would give it a great home (we can assume, anyway):
