This cop's actions are going viral for all the right reasons

One police officer is showing that relationships with the community can make a huge difference. His name is Tommy Norman and he isn't your typical cop.

The Arkansas officer is known around his town for being involved in the lives of the people he protects as a police officer. He dances and plays with children and hands out toys and snacks in his hometown of North Little Rock, Arkansas.

His community policing style has not only allowed him to foster great relationships with his community, but has made him an internet sensation. Officer Norman, who uses Instagram to share videos and pictures of his work in the community, has over one million Instagram followers. He uses the hashtags #CommunityPolicing and #StayCommitted on each of his posts.

Officer Norman's actions have caught the attention of Harlem Taylor, the son the rapper, The Game. Last week Taylor created a GoFundMe to "help Officer Norman continue his mission strengthening the community." Currently the fundraiser has raised over $69,000. The money raised will be used to purchase and deliver snacks, drinks, and toys to Officer Norman so he can keep his trunk stocked for the community.
