A TV reporter heard a frightened noise from this tiny animal during a live news segment
Nashville, Tennessee's Fox 17 news crew was filming live at a location near Highway I-24 when a female news reporter heard an interesting noise in the distance.
"This little kitten called for help the moment we arrived for our live shot last night," said Sabrina Hall wrote on Facebook.
Instantly, she stopped reporting to run to the kitten's rescue.
"She was all alone in brush next to a loud and busy highway. She followed me everywhere but was too afraid at first to be touched. I finally reached out and grabbed her."
The kitten began to relax once Hall comforted it. After work, she immediately took the kitten home for a warm bath and some delicious food. The stray kitten built a bond with Hall's dog, who seemed to love its arrival from the moment Hall walked in the door.
Later on, when her work was done, Hall decided to take the kitten home with her for a bath and a feeding. It was there that the little stray made a new friend — Hall's dog, who was clearly smitten with the new arrival from the start.
After being taken to the veterinarian, the kitten was declared male and now has a forever home.
