Newly released cellphone video obtained by the "Daily Beast" captures the horrifying moments when Alton Sterling—a black man-- was shot and killed by two white police officers outside a Baton Rouge convenience store as he was pinned to the ground. The video appears not to support a claim that Sterling was holding a gun at the time of the incident.

According to the police department's Facebook page, 37-year-old Sterling was selling music outside of the convenience store and threatening a man with a gun.
