Dad busts his daughter for drinking in the most perfect way

A naive Texas teen who thought she could get away with hiding alcohol in her sock drawer learned otherwise when her dad took creative measures to call her out.

Twitter user @glovelacee, who goes by Elainey, posted a video explaining that her pops found her secret stash.

"Soooooo my parents found this bottle I was hiding in my room and this happened......" she tweeted along with this video.

In the video, Elainey's dad reveals that he found something he didn't want her to have.

"When you get home, I'd like to talk to you about this," dad says. His expression goes from a beaming smile to a serious one as he pulls out a bottle of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. It seems she might have been drinking underage.

He continues with a glint of sarcasm.

"Perhaps it fell out of a sock, and into the drawer where it was found. Or perhaps it's part of a rumored burglary ring that breaks into people's houses and hides whisky where it shouldn't be."

He added that they need to either report this to the police, or Elainey needs to confess.

Though you'd think the message would send a teenage daughter into shock, she posted it online for the world to see -- and boy, did the world see it.

It was reposted more than 10,000 times and received more than 20,000 likes.

Elainey did not respond to requests to comment on the story, so we aren't sure if she came clean yet. Hopefully she did and her father's clever discipline will start a fun parenting trend.
