27 sexual assault cases were reported at a music festival in Sweden

Sweden's Silence on Festival Sex Attacks


Swedish police have received 27 cases of reported sexual assault following this past weekend's Putte i Parken music festival in Karlstad, Sweden, reports the Associated Press. The alleged attacks all occurred against girls or young women, aged 12 to 20. According to Karlstad police officer Eva Hogfeldt, seven male perpetrators are currently being sought after by the police for crimes including alleged groping and other sexual misconduct. No one has yet been detained or arrested.
