Stars team up to #LeanInTogether for women's empowerment

Women accomplish amazing things when they support each other. When a woman helps another woman, they both benefit. And when women celebrate one another's accomplishments, we're all lifted up. These messages and more are the driving force behind LeanIn.org's new public awareness campaign "Together Women Can." The goal of this campaign is to spread the message that together women can do more, go further and change the world.

In the spirit of women supporting women, AOL'S MAKERS is proud to partner with LeanIn.Org in creating a truly uplifting video in order to bring the messages of the campaign to life. Watch Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Megyn Kelly, Eva Longoria, Sheryl Sandberg, Abby Wambach, Kerry Washington, Emma Watson, and Serena Williams speaking passionately about the women who have inspired and supported them. In addition, LeanIn.Org has created a series of research-based tips on the practical, everyday ways women can support other women and girls.

"Our goal is that every woman who visits our campaign website leaves with the inspiration and information they need to advocate for the women and girls in their lives," explains Rachel Thomas, president of LeanIn.Org. "There are so many simple things women can do every day to lift each other up."
