Updated

Sometimes, waking up in the morning is the hardest part of the day, even if you have fluffy puppies coming to drag you out of bed. The latest alarm clock may make the whole thing a much pleasant process by tingling with your senses. Designer Joshua Renouf made an alarm clock called Barisieur, which doubles as a coffee brewer that "eases the the user into the day with the subtle movement of stainless steel ball bearing that boil the water through induction heating, accompanied by the smell of freshly brewed coffee."

The user needs to prepare the clock every night, which is a relaxing ritual that calms you down from the stress of the day and lets your mind know that it's time for sleeping. You just have to set up a time when you want the alarm to start brewing coffee and smoothly wake you up with its scent and delicate sounds.
