A Theragun is a percussive massage device you can use to treat sore muscles. Not only that, but you can use the gadget to warm up before a workout and cool down after. Therabody’s most portable (and cheapest) Theragun is the mini version. Compared to the bigger, more expensive pro models, the mini still packs a big punch with three speeds and 150 minutes of battery life. It comes in black or red.

(Editor’s note: The Theragun mini was a gamechanger in my marathon training. Plus, it’s great for treating stiff muscles caused by sitting on the couch while working from home.)

The original version costs $199.99, but the music version costs about $50 more, allowing you to connect your watch to Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer. Plus, you can download playlists so you can workout without holding onto your phone.

Luckily, Gaiam recently restocked its hand weights online, selling this handy set of weights — including a 3-lbs. set, a 5-lbs. set and a 8-lbs. set — and a rack for holding them all. You can also purchase individual dumbbells in various sizes starting at $6.98.

Professional marathon runners like and Desiree Linden (the 2018 Boston Marathon winner) and Shadrack Biwott (the top American runner at Boston in 2017 and 2018) wear Brooks shoes, so it’s fair to say the brand makes really good running shoes.

The Adrenaline GTS 20 shoes offer support and cushioning for a smoother, softer run. The shoes also have what the brand calls GuideRails, which keep extra movement in check and help prevent knee injuries.
