Australian magician creates jaw-dropping balloon animals
Matthew Ferron is an award-winning magician from Melbourne and an advanced balloon twister at the party entertainment company, Kiddly Winks.
That means instead of using just a couple of balloons, Ferron uses up to 10 to create cartoon characters, animals and wearable art. Yep, the simple balloon animals you remember from your childhood have since become far more elaborate. Ferron posts videos where he flexes the unique skill on Instagram.

In one video, he combines multiple pink and white balloons to create a bear. Ferron twists the balloons into separate sections of different sizes. He’s able to connect the balloons by snuggly wrapping them around each other. To add the finishing touches like the bear’s eyes, he uses a marker.

Later in the same video, Ferron uses black, white purple and red balloons to create a ladybug. He draws on the eyes and black spots with the same Sharpie. The video was liked over 1,000 times. While Ferron asked users to choose between the ladybug and the bear in the caption, most liked both.
“Aw! What a way to spread smiles! They’re both an incredible display of balloon craftsmanship,” an Instagram user wrote.
“I like them both, but the ladybug is my thing,” another said.
“Such a great talent! I want both!” one added.
