TikTok has the undeniable power to make beauty products go viral, selling out items like lip-shaped K-beauty masks and rainbow body butter in recent months. But perhaps one of the most viral beauty products on TikTok is an oil control roller that’s been sold out for weeks upon weeks — until now.

Revlon’s Oil-Absorbing Volcanic Roller has been almost impossible to find after going viral on TikTok in late March. Since then, the $12.60 product appeared on reselling sites like Mercari and Poshmark for up to three times the retail price. Thankfully, price-gouging resellers aren’t your only option now, as Amazon and CVS have restocked the popular product.

The reusable roller is made of volcanic stone, which absorbs excess oil on the skin. It’s the same concept as blotting papers, but since it can be used again and again, the easy-to-clean roller creates less waste in the long run.

To use the stone, simply roll it on your face where shine and oil are present. The results are instant, as seen in a viral TikTok by user @looksbylexington. The TikTok seems to be a major reason behind the rollers’ incredible popularity, as it has gained more 1.3 million likes on the platform.

In the clip, @looksbylexington says, “It literally gets rid of all the shine, and it doesn’t mess with your makeup at all. What the heck!”

Get it at CVS for $12.99

To clean the roller, you simply twist the top open, remove the stone, and wash it with warm water and face wash. After drying overnight, it’s as good as new.

There’s a lot to love about this roller that more than a million people “like” on TikTok. Plus, you have to admit, cleaning your face with volcanic rock is pretty badass.
