Retailing for $500, this 4K UHD television is said to go above and beyond much more expensive and higher-end smart TVs, thanks to its voice control capabilities and Roku TV streaming feature.
This particular TV also has ethernet and Wi-Fi built-in, allowing users to access apps like Netflix and YouTube with ease. Due to these two major components, the TV can also be controlled from a mobile device via the Roku app, Amazon Alexa or a Google Assistant-enabled device.
The TCL 55-inch Class HDR 4K UHD Smart QLED TV also boasts four HDMI ports that provide connections to HD devices like Blu-ray players, cable/satellite boxes, gaming consoles and more.
In regards to its native resolution, this particular model features Natural Motion 240 motion enhancement technology which is said to “digitally reduce the blur commonly associated with fast-moving, on-screen objects.”
Shoppers are quite impressed with this TV, especially given its massively discounted price. One shopper admitted to doing tons of research before coming to the consensus that this was worth the purchase.
“I did a lot of research. The TCL 6 series was near the top even for more expensive units. This thing is awesome,” the shopper wrote. “The color, contrast and black levels are fantastic. The Roku integration sold me.”
Another shopper admitted that while he had to tweak “the image settings” a bit after receiving the TV, he was fully satisfied, adding, “For the price you can’t beat this TV.”
When compared to the likes of higher-end smart TVs, like from Samsung and Vizio, this TCL customer-favorite option seems to reign supreme, thanks to its Roku integration, which does away with the need for external streaming devices like Apple TVs or Amazon Fire TV Sticks. Also, all shoppers seem to share the sentiment that this TV proves to be the “best value for [the] money.”
