Bathroom gadgets seem to be taking over with the invention of toilet bowl night lights and even modified toilet bowl designs. In 2020, we're taking things up a notch and introducing you to a simple gadget that can transform your traditional toilet bowl into a luxurious bidet.
The folks at Tushy have created two best-selling products — the Tushy Classic and the Tushy Spa — that easily clip onto your toilet and spritz your bum with a pressure-adjustable stream of water to ensure everything is clean and fresh after you've finished, umm, relieving yourself.

Shop: Tushy Spa Temperature Control Bidet, $109 (Orig. $119)
The three-step installation process takes just 10 minutes. All you'll need to do is remove your toilet seat, connect the Tushy to your clean water supply, then place the seat back on top. A nozzle from the attached Tushy device will now be visible and available to spray whenever you're ready.
If you're unsure if this neat gadget would fit your toilet bowl, no worries — Tushy fits all standard toilets and some one-piece toilets. Making it even more convenient, it does not require electricity or additional plumbing to operate smoothly.
With the included nozzle adjuster and pressure control dial, users can adjust the stream and pressure of water with each use with ease.
It should be worth noting that both models feature a self-cleaning nozzle, with the Tushy Spa exclusively including a 9-foot hot water connection, which enables the gadget to release warm or cool clean water "like a cleansing hug," as the site so specifically explains. Your toilet must be located next to your sink, however, in order to access the heat for this feature.
"I'd never had or used a bidet and now I am a fan. I am 75 years old and installed it myself," one customer wrote.
"I love my Tushy Toilet!! Feels great, works great and I'm conserving toilet paper and wet wipes, therefore saving the environment one flush at a time!" another customer added.
"I can't understand how I lived so long with my head in the sand," he wrote. "I bought this same model for my sister and brother-in-law and I would, and do, recommend it to everyone. Just do it, you won't regret it."
One shopper highlighted some slight difficulty in connecting the device to her hot water source, stressing that it “was a bit of a project.” In the end, however, she admitted that “it was really worth it” and she now “needs one for every toilet.”
While Tushy appears to be one of the most loved, there are other bidet attachments on the market, like this option from Omigo. However, shoppers seem to enjoy that Tushy comes in a sleeker form factor and an assortment of nine color options to suit any bathroom decor and aesthetic — a detail that contrasts with the single white color offered at its competitor.
Also, in contrast to this alternative option from Best Buy, Tushy gives its users the option to adjust the temperature of the water — a feature that hundreds of shoppers admit is highly appreciated.
