While we’re patiently waiting for Joanna Gaines to come back into our lives (and TV screens) on a regular basis — Joanna and Chip’s new channel for Discovery is set to launch sometime this October — at least we can (literally) get a taste of her favorite recipes she makes for Chip and her kids at home.

Joanna’s newest cookbook is here, and it’s even more beautiful than her first release Magnolia Table, which quickly made its name as New York Times' No.1 bestselling cookbook in November 2016 and shortly after sold 1.3 million copies.

Inspired by hundreds of families across the country making her recipes, Joanna got back in the kitchen to bring more of her families’ favorite recipes to life too. In Magnolia Table Volume 2, you’ll find 145 new recipes that Joanna not only makes at home but are also served in the Gaines’ restaurant Magnolia Table, their bakery Silos Baking Co and their new coffee shop Magnolia Press.

You can expect to see a mix of tasty breakfast and dinner ideas plus a generous side of delicious soup, bread, and dessert concoctions. Just to name a few to wet your palate, you’ll find full instructions for dishes like mushroom-gruyére quiche, pumpkin cream cheese bread, grilled bruschetta chicken and Magnolia Press’ signature chocolate cake.

If this cookbook is anything like her first, which has garnered more than 1,900 five-star reviews across Target and Amazon, you’ll enjoy finding new meals to make from the latest addition to what we’re sure won’t be Jo’s last cookbook collection. Plus, shoppers praised the first Magnolia Table cookbook saying it has an easy-to-follow format with a tools and gadgets guide and simple (but delicious) recipes that don’t require any obscure tools you have to go out and buy, and you can expect a similar format with this latest release.

To celebrate its launch, Joanna posted a sweet message to fans and everyone involved in the cookbook on Instagram that included a powerful statement: “I truly believe food has the power to connect us all,” which is especially true during times like these.

If you’ve been vying for more inspiration in the kitchen while you’re making more meals at home, Joanna’s latest cookbook is here to fill your days (and stomachs!) with some delectable delights.
