As we continue to social distance and stay home, we’ve been finding ourselves cleaning our homes more than ever. While it’s no secret that finding brand-name cleaners in stock is difficult, it’s not impossible — and we’re even discovering new brands daily.

One new-to-us brand that caught our eye in the past few weeks is Puracy. Founded by two friends who wanted to create natural cleaning products that could be used around small children and pets, Puracy prides itself on selling products that are safe for your family and the environment — and that actually work. According to one of their customer service reps, they use ingredients that “are proven to remove bacteria and microbes from a surface, leaving little to nothing for germs could grow on.”

To ensure that their products are gentle yet effective, the brand works closely with doctors and experts of all specialties including a dermatologist, a pediatrician and a chemist.

While most brands define the word “natural” differently, Puracy states that a natural ingredient “means it started from a natural, renewable source found in nature with absolutely no petroleum compounds” and “may also be identified as plant-based, plant-derived, or naturally derived.”

Puracy offers everything from multi-surface cleaners children’s body wash and pet shampoo, but if you are interested in trying out a few products, they also offer a few value sets. Their Housewarming Gift Set can be given as a present or as a useful kit for those that want to try a few things from the brand around the house.

The eco-friendly set includes one laundry detergent, one stain remover, two dish soaps, two multi-surface cleaners and three liquid hand soaps all for about $60.

Plus, Puracy also offers the option to sign up for monthly deliveries when you subscribe (and it gives you a 15 percent discount as an incentive) — but you also can make a one time purchase if you aren’t ready to sign up for the subscription.

One happy customer shared, “I ordered the Housewarming bundle and love the products. I am a realtor and used it to clean a new listing and it cleaned everything. The scent is just clean and pure. Loved how the windows shined and the bathrooms. The laundry soap works great!!!! I will reorder.”

While some customers have shared that the dish soap doesn’t lather up as much as other traditional brands, the majority of other reviewers said that the products worked well regardless. But if you’re still on the fence, all Puracy products have a satisfaction guarantee too, so if you don’t love the items, you can get your money back.

If you’re interested in trying other eco-friendly or natural cleaning brands, we’re also fans of the Honest Company (they ban harsh chemicals that can be harmful to users) and Blueland (they are on a mission to decrease the use of single-use plastics).

All three brands sell a multi-surface cleaner too. Honest sells a similar cleaner to Puracy as it's plant-derived, but their multi-surface product is about $2 cheaper. Blueland's cleaner is non-toxic but their real appeal is that their products come in a glass bottle that you buy once, to eliminate single-use plastic waste, and then their product refills come in tablet form so there is no need to purchase another bottle.

You can shop our favorite Puracy set above and see their entire line of products on their website.
