Sushi is arguably one of the most beloved dishes around the world, so much so that some folks even have go-to rolls that they order on a weekly — sometimes even daily — basis. And whether you fall into this category or are just a lover of the Japanese delicacy, you’re probably bummed that you aren’t currently able to enjoy a handmade roll at your favorite tried-and-true spot.

To remedy this temporary loss, Williams Sonoma is offering a genius DIY sushi kit that affords you the luxury of creating your own rolls from the comfort of your kitchen.

Retailing for just $32, this kit allows you to “exercise your culinary creativity” through the use of a simple guide that will settle your craving once and for all.

The kit comes fully stocked with all the ingredients needed for sushi rice as well as seasonings and a flexible mat that allows you to roll your own sushi with ease.

Included in the kit are sushi rice, rice vinegar powder, nori, sesame seeds, wasabi powder, a bamboo rolling mat and an instruction/recipe booklet.

The DIY set produces eight six-piece rolls, with the flexible bamboo mat making what is considered the most difficult part of the process (rolling) a piece of cake.

Included in the booklet are detailed instructions, several recipes and even information on sushi culture and etiquette.

In case you’re unsure of your ability to master the art of sushi-making, the rules are simple: Just line the mat with nori, spread on some sushi rice, add your favorite fillings and you’re ready to roll and enjoy!

One shopper could not have been more impressed by the quality of the product and its ease of use, writing, “This was a great kit! It was easy to use and so fun. The sushi turned out really well and everyone enjoyed it.”

There are other sushi kits on the market, like this 11-piece set from Simply Good Stuff. However, the Williams Sonoma option gives you more bang for your buck as it comes with all necessary materials — including ingredients — housed in the package.
