Showers are supposed to be a soothing and cleansing experience. But there’s nothing relaxing about fighting with a clogged, dull razor while trying to shave. But this razor holder will help make shower time serene again by effortlessly cleaning your razors — and sharpening them to boot.

The BladeTap Clean & Sharpen Razor Blade Holder is like any other razor holder you’d stick to your shower wall. But a brush on the holder allows you to clean your razor, getting in between blades to sweep out hair and dead skin. The holder is also made to sharpen your typical drugstore disposable razors, which are commonly used to shave legs and faces. This helps keep your "cheap" razor in better shape, effectively extending its life.

To use the cleaning brush, you simply tap the razor on the brush. The brand recommends not wiping the razor side-to-side on the bristles as you may first be tempted, saying it will damage the brush. To sharpen your razor’s blades, simply swipe the razor up (in the opposite direction of shaving) on the holder's plane to hone the edges.

One pleased buyer commented “I bought this for my wife, since she's always dropping the razor in the shower, or complaining about keeping the blades clean. Voila!! Both solved.”

The holder is available for $16.95, and comes in black, white and pink. Check out the options for yourself below.
