Celebs can’t get enough of this wholesome Zumba video

A community of Utah residents has endeared itself to several popular celebrities after coming together for a Zumba class. The catch? All of them following social distancing guidelines while exercising.

On March 17th, Daniel Doney, the husband of Zumba instructor Heather Doney, shared a heartwarming video of his wife, along with fellow Saratoga Springs instructor Erin Stewart, leading a 45-minute outdoor group session.

The camera pans around to reveal residents in the neighborhood enthusiastically dancing to Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” Don Omar’s “Danza Kuduro” and other songs. Most of them keep a safe distance from each other as they do so.

According to NowThis News, the instructors were inspired to hold the class after watching videos of Italians similarly finding creative ways to entertain one another while in quarantine.

The Zumba video caught the attention of Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Demi Lovato and Kacey Musgraves — all of whom shared the clip on their Instagram stories.

“So @kourtneykardash and I want to do this in the neighborhood,” wrote Khloe, whose family lives in the well-to-do LA neighborhoods of Calabasas and Hidden Hills.

“Omg this is incredible!!” Lovato commented.

The benefits of Zumba are well-documented. According to WebMD, the Latin dance, which is normally set to upbeat music, strengthens the core, legs and glutes.
