From bottomless sangria to even your favorite local spot’s freshly brewed iced tea, the price of specialty drinks can stack up. So, it’s sometimes best to make them yourself.

With so many of these drinks using the likes of tea bags, fruit and mint leaves as flavoring agents, it’s not uncommon for indulgers to get one, two or five sprigs in their drinks. To avoid this easily annoying occurrence, the folks at Bodum created the Ceylon jug with an included filter to keep unwanted elements out of your drink, providing an uninterrupted experience.

Made of see-through plastic, this jug features a removable filter that allows users to add anything to spruce up their drinks.

The iced tea recipe referenced in the product’s description explains just how useful this star feature is.

“Simply add your preferred tea leaves into the removable filter, pour 1-2 cups of boiling water over the leaves and add your preferred amount of sugar,” it reads. “After the sugar has dissolved, fill the jug with cold water from the top. Close the lid, and leave the jug in the fridge over night. The next morning you will have tasty iced teta.”

Making this a 2-for-1 deal, the filter system is completely removable, allowing the Ceylon to double as a simple pitcher.

The lid also includes a screening filter to prevent any particles from flowing into your cup. The item is also fully dishwasher-safe.

Whether you’re hosting a summer brunch or just spending the day inside, the Ceylon jug is the perfect addition to any kitchen.
