Alpine roller coaster offers breathtaking mountain views

Updated

This incredible first-person video of a mountain rollercoaster ride will make you feel like you’re actually on a much-needed vacation right now.

Rushabh Chheda, 28, who originally hails from Mumbai, India, but currently lives in the Netherlands, shared the jaw-dropping clip, showing his own perspective as he slid down Hotel Oeschinensee‘s Mountain Coaster.

The nearly 2,500-foot-long toboggan run takes adventurers on a tour of the gorgeous mountains around Oeschinensee Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Kandersteg, Switzerland, according to Travel and Leisure.

Visitors ages 3 and up are permitted on the coaster with a guardian over the age of 8, and tickets are very affordable for all — admission for one child costs about $5 and, for one adult, just $6.

The ride, which lasts for nearly two minutes, is only open during warmer months, typically from May through mid-October.
