Fashion designer and entrepreneur Diane von Furstenberg is working with Amazon to highlight diverse and inspiring women-owned small businesses in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.

The partnership, called Amazon x #InCharge, follows DVF’s Woman InCharge campaign, which honors a different successful female each month on its retail site.

The showcase of women-owned businesses will live on the Amazon home page, but will also have its own site. Some of the businesses included are LuminAid, KarmaLit, Final Straw, Bee’s Wrap, Three Wishes, OBIA Naturals, Nerdbugs and more, along with short profiles on each of the founders.

“I am thrilled to work with Amazon to highlight women-led businesses and share their stories with millions of Amazon customers in celebration of International Women’s Day. As part of this first-of-its kind initiative, I’m also excited to launch an exclusive collection of #InCharge merchandise available to Amazon customers during Women’s History Month,” Diane said in a press release.

The new DVF merchandise available on Amazon includes a black tote bag, gold necklace and white t-shirt, all printed with the phrase ‘InCharge’ written in Diane’s handwriting. Each item is also priced under $55.

Furthermore, on International Women’s Day, when Amazon Alexa users say, “Alexa, Good Morning,” they’ll hear from Diane. And for the entire month of March, which is Women’s History Month, users can say, “Alexa, talk to Diane von Furstenberg,” to hear more about her inspirations.

Over the course of her career, Diane von Furstenberg has been empowering women. She created the iconic wrap-dress in 1972 and by 1976, sold over five million pieces with the design. Now, roughly four decades later, women continue to wear the wrap dress for every occasion.

“The wrap dress is really what helped me to become the woman I wanted to be,” von Furstenberg told the Daily Beast in 2014. “It paid for all of my bills; it gave me my independence; it paid for my children’s education. I owe so much to the wrap dress, and now it allows me to encourage other women to be that woman they want to be. It is a very powerful thing.”

Beyond fashion, Diane also hosts the DVF Awards, which she launched in 2010 with The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation to “recognize and support extraordinary women who are dedicated to transforming the lives of other women; women who have had the courage to fight, the strength to survive, and the leadership to inspire.”

You can shop the #InCharge merchandise available on Amazon above. And, for a limited time, you can use code INCHARGE for 20 percent off full-priced items on DVF.com.
